  • Collaborating with Google on Cloud Services Platform

    (14 Mar 2019)
Every once and a while I am reminded that all this cool new technology we are fortunate to make a living from still comes down to the people you get to meet and interact with. Looking back about 9 months, a couple weeks after we announced our official partnership with Google I was introduced to a couple Googlers that were working on a fresh new Kubernetes project. Most of the conversation was not about the technology or what they were building but what the market and our customers needed to be successful with Kubernetes. At this point it was no secret that Kubernetes was a very big deal and many people trying to deploy and manage it as scale were having some challenges. Google was clearly looking to solve these challenges and also take things to a new level.

  • dashai - A Community DevOps Dashboard

    (07 May 2018)
Arctiq is happy to launch the dashai Community - "YOUR DevOps Dashboard" Why is having quick, easy access to real-time data so hard? Why does the ability to share insight, as a result of that data, across various teams have such a high cost? I have been asking myself these questions for much of my career in technology. I think back to when my team was responsible for large scale web, and electronic payment systems. We always struggled with monitoring, and more specifically understanding the performance and trending information about our systems.
  • Aqua on OpenShift - Level-Up Your Container Security Game - Part I

As container technology becomes prevalent in organizations, teams begin to move faster, applications are deployed quicker, and there is the inevitable question that arises around security posture of the container contents. Container technology has enabled developers and operations teams to gain rapid feedback and insight into application health, and security should not be excluded from this capability. This blog article covers the first of two methods to help include application security scanning in the development pipeline so that vulnerabilities don't make it into production.
  • Understand Containers - For VM Makers

    (27 Feb 2018)
