F5 has recently released AS3 (Application Services 3 Extension) to help teams further abstract F5 configuration from inherent knowledge of the underlying platform. This declarative model allows application teams to further extend their deployment workflows into F5 much more seamlessly.

So we all know change is not easy, especially when it involves moving away from what you have be doing successfully for many years. Last week I had the opportunity to attend **F5 Networks - North American Partner Leadership Summit** along with many of F5's top North American Partners. The message from the senior management team was crystal clear, F5 is **changing its stance** in the market and is very serious about rapidly evolving to meet these new market and customer demands.

I had the opportunity to attend the f5 Networks North American Partner Leadership Summit December 4th and 5th. They certainly picked a sweet spot the host the event, the Ritz Carlton - Half Moon Bay is an amazing property on the edge of the west coast. Hitesh and I were able to step away during lunch to have a conversation about what's going on with f5, the thriving community, emerging technology and all the change that is rolling out across the organization.
