Arctiq Recognized as Best Service Organization in Canada by Computer Dealer News and IT World Canada at the 15th Annual Channel Elite Awards

TORONTO — September 28, 2017 — Arctiq Inc. is proud to announce they have been named GOLD Winner - Best Service Organization in Canada by CDN and IT World Canada, Canada’s top IT channel publication, in CDN’s 15th Annual Channel Elite Awards. The winners were announced at CDN’s Channel Elite Awards gala on September 27, 2017.

Arctiq was honored for their dedication to providing innovative open source solutions to Canadian customers. Specifically, Arctiq was recognized for a focus on innovative and emerging technologies, such as containers, automation, DevOps services, and leading the charge in modelling a new services delivery approach to clients across North America.

This is the fourth major award presented to Arctiq in their short but storied history. “It’s an amazing feeling to be recognized for our hard work,” says Tim Fairweather, Partner at Arctiq. “However, it’s really about the transformational work we perform with our clients and partners. The external recognition confirms we are more than on the right track with our innovative approach to solutions and service delivery. We’re ecstatic to be recognized nationally by CDN Channel Elite, and very thankful to our great collaborator Red Hat for the nomination.”

With a recent launch of hands-on workshops, and flexible retainer services, Arctiq is making waves in Canadian technology enablement. “We are changing the way services are delivered nationally to both large enterprises and mid-market clients.” says Daniyal Javed, DevOps Consultant for Arctiq. “The past year has been an eye-opening experience working with the Arctiq team, giving me the opportunity to rapidly accelerate my career while helping customers adopt new technologies and processes.” Arctiq has the experience in the market and has built flexible service models to ensure clients are able to consume services in their preferred method, while ensuring overall project success.

Arctiq was nominated by Red Hat Canada for this Channel Elite Award. “We are proud to nominate the work of such an outstanding collaborator,” says Luc Villeneuve, Red Hat Canada, country leader and general manager. “We have collaborated on some innovative solutions, including the BC Developers’ Exchange, which aims to break down the walls between developers and the government to provide a shared space to collaborate using open source tools to accelerate the development of new services. Arctiq’s team brings a fresh and intelligent approach to DevOps, containers, and automation. We look forward to working with them in the future to bring more exciting solutions to our customers.” adds Villeneuve.

The CDN Channel Elite Awards rank Canadian solution providers in 12 categories, including Best Enterprise Solution, Best Cloud Computing Solution, Best Security Solution, Best Mobile Solution, and Best Service Organization. The annual awards gala recognizes excellence across the large and diverse community of Canadian technology partners. The judging panel consisted of current or recently retired CIO and IT director-level executives from high-profile organizations in Canada. Judges were selected for their experience in the IT channel as resellers and as IT managers who have worked with solution providers.
