Welcome to Part 2 of my 18-month recap of how Arctiq got where we are today (in short-order!). If you missed Part 1 you can find it here: So … A year and a half - Part 1. It’s been a fun ride. As Arctiq has grown, we put our big bets into great business partnerships, hiring a set of solid new team members, and a focus on delivering the solutions that matters most to our clients.
Arctiq put a lot of focus into building solid partnerships early. Red Hat is by far and away our biggest and most strategic partner, but we have integrated solutions with many leading-edge partners today, such as GitHub, SysDig, and MongoDB. Plus new relationships with modern security pipeline companies, such as BlackDUCK, Sonatype, and Aqua Security. These complimentary open source software providers help Arctiq build the relevant layered solutions that are in demand. By delivering value across today’s IT landscape, and enabling innovation through modern approaches and tools, Arctiq clients can transform their businesses and deliver results faster.
Arctiq started as a group of solid partners, but growth happened fast. We were able to add some amazing team members to our expedition (shameless plug: We are always looking for great people to join our team!). Since Arctiq focuses on emerging technologies, our main requirement was to find people with the right attitude and aptitude, and of course to help build our culture. We were lucky to find some rockstars early on:
//focus on pedigree
It didn’t take long to determine where to focus Arctiq’s services - our customers were telling us! And Red Hat had some advice too :) Containers and microservices, DevOps and automation, visibility and reporting…these are all critical topics for the modern organization. Our goal is to ensure we provide enterprise-level focus on these solutions, while also maintaining an eye to the next set of emerging technologies.
Arctiq’s current focus:
- Container & Microservices Consulting
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Workflow Automation - Infrastructure as Code, Network Automation, Source Code Management, Innersourcing
- Systems Management & Ops Automation
- Security, Compliance & Reporting
- Technology Workshops on our Ecosystem Partner Technologies
And of course, we deliver all this with our results-based Minimum Viable Product (MVP) approach.
If you are interested in learning more or discussing any of the technology we utilized we would love to hear from you.
